Founding Partner Rick Will develops, acquires, and sells retail centers across the United States. Rick’s early roots were focused on the development of retail single-tenant NNN and multi-tenant strip center assets. Over the past few years, Rick has added large mixed-use developments to his portfolio. As head of Legend Partners' Development Group, and one of the four founding partners of Legend Partners, Rick has been instrumental in our growth since its inception. Ricks's real estate career began in 1985 with LaSalle Partners and extended to Mile High Properties and then to Trammell Crow Company. Along with our formation in 2000, Rick spent 8 years as a master broker and eventually Development Director for Chipotle Mexican Grill. Over that period Rick was responsible for coordinating real estate, design, and construction for a 15-state region, completing over 200 real estate transactions. Rick’s development team is responsible for approximately $200 million of real estate development across 16 states. Rick and his team continue to develop NNN and multi-tenant properties and are part of the team developing Gates District at Broadway Station, a mixed-use transit-oriented development in Denver, CO. Upon completion Gates District will deliver over 400,000 square feet of office, 180,000 square feet of retail and 900 residential units.
